Dr. Kim Aikens, M.D., M.B.A

A graduate of Middlebury College, Aikens received her M.D. from the University of Vermont. After private Internal Medicine practice, she completed the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. In addition, Aikens also holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Dr. Kim Aikens brings extensive experience across multiple industries, including healthcare, to her work as a career coach. She has helped individuals transform their careers, start new ventures, become better leaders and learn to cope with setbacks and disappointments. In particular, Aikens is passionate about coaching physicians and brings a fresh perspective to health care professionals who are seeking career advancement or transition.

Aikens is also the founder and CEO of The Aikens Approach, an innovative corporate mental fitness and mindfulness-training program. Research on this program, done at The Dow Chemical Company, showed statistically significant improvements in employee well being, work engagement, and resiliency.  Aikens created The Aikens Approach curriculum as well as its business development strategy.

Aikens holds a professional executive coaching certification from the University of Miami and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation.
